You're courageous, you're disruptive, and you're unfiltered.

How have you developed that? Because I think a lot of people, how many of you would like to be more like Bethany?

It doesn't come without a cost, and the truth is, you're always doing a cost-benefit analysis.

So when I was doing my podcast, just be, when I was signing up for it, I said to myself, with this world right now, watered down, sanitized, perfect versions of ourselves, and everybody's spewing out, and perfect pictures of themselves, and their perfect lives, and their perfect makeup, and perfect language, and perfect statements.

I said, why do I have my bank account? Because if the shit hits the fan, and I say something, it's going to piss some people off, this could be it.

And I said, I will only do this if I can do it, honestly, and I'm not disruptive for the sake of being disruptive.

I'm going to wake up today and piss some people off. It's not like that.

But just like once, I was in airport security, and I knocked into them, and just like, oh, I go, you know what I did? I woke up this morning, and I'm like, I'm going to fuck with someone in airport security today.

I just feel like that's what I want to do, or you're in your, and using a restroom too long, and there's a line, and someone knocking on the door,

you're like, I'm doing my taxes in here right now. That's what I'm doing. People are sick. But the point is, I just happen to be disruptive, because I'm honest and unafraid, and it's not that common turns out.

People I know that are in the entertainment industry, call me, and message me, and say, oh my god, I wish I could be like you. I don't know how you can say it. You're so courageous.

How could I do any of this without that? I'd be so bad. I don't like to, I do relief work all over the world, okay?

But I don't like it to be disingenuous, where I'm always holding babies, and being like, look how great I am. I operate relief as a business, meaning it's 100% goes to the effort.

But I treat it like a business, because there has to be an ROI, but I don't like it to be in authentic.

So I think that sometimes being authentic is disruptive, because you're just being honest. And then people are like, why didn't you say it that way? Why didn't you do it that way?

Because I don't always have the most popular thing.

But you said that it comes with a price, so talk to me about the price. When does it cost you being who you are?

The price is, the price is cancel culture. The price is, you're supposed to speak your mind and speak freely.
