In the east were 90% plus private land and to be able to say okay we're we're going to go after this goal of creating 10,000 acres.

Maybe to some of your Western listeners that doesn't sound like that much, but it's massive on the scale.

And we could create habitat connectivity on a scale in the southeast that doesn't really exist right now from a grassland perspective.

And it's exciting stuff, man.

I hope you can tell that every day I wake up and man I love my job, I love what I do. The grasslands of the

northeastern United States and the upper parts of the south are Beaver and there's a

huge story to be told there about the role of Beaver in maintaining open

landscapes in the east.

Look at what is actually going on with like Southeastern Grasslands Initiative with the people that I've

had on this podcast. I mean, I don't know if there's ever been as much positive stuff going on in my lifetime.
