I wanted to record a swift introduction to today's podcast with Aaron M Block.

Aaron, I've been trying to get this podcast together for quite a while.

And Erin is the author, well she's an editor large at Trout magazine.

She's published Brigitte essays in Field and Stream,

Gray Sport and Journal, and Mid Current.

But she's the author of three books by a thread, a retrospective on women in Fly Thai

and How You Walk alone in the dark,

which is her new poetry book just published in March of 2023.

And interesting kind of deep dive treatise on bamboo fly rods which as you'll find as you listen to

Aaron all of her work is more than it appears so the treatise own bamboo rods becomes something much larger in her

hands on that book is called the view from coal creek reflections on flower rods canyons

and bamboo.

That was about 10 years ago and now all of these books are available on Amazon still if you want to look them up.

I'm trying to put together a book list for this podcast.

But, and I'm going to have to listen to it again to do that.

But I wanted to let folks know, I make a mistake in there.

Ellen Malloy, the brilliant folks know I make a mistake in there.

Ellen Malloy, the brilliant Pulitzer Prize winning non-fiction writer that Aaron tells me about

somewhat in the hour and half or so.

She is not from Hilton of Montana.

She lived and died in Bluff Utah.
