0:40.3	Hi, guys, my name is Scott Schroek. I am a recovered alcoholic.
0:42.3	I'm also a freezing alcoholic.
0:45.3	I just moved back from Florida.
0:46.3	I'm afraid there's some truth to that rumor about your blood thinning.
0:50.3	I may get to the point where the jacket comes off, but don't count on it.
0:55.7	I also have a tendency to black out when I first start speaking, so if you see me turning
0:59.8	white and drifting on one side, I will be okay.
1:05.5	I say I'm a recovered alcoholic, and a lot of us do that for some of the folks who are, easy.
1:13.6	Some of the folks who are new to our program are recovered.
1:17.6	The reason I describe myself as a recovered alcoholic is for many different reasons.
1:23.6	Probably the most important one being that I no longer suffer from that strange mental blank spot that precedes the first drink.
1:33.2	God of my understanding has restored me to sanity.
1:36.7	In other words, I know the true from the false regarding my relationship to alcohol and a couple of other substances.
1:46.0	Now, I'm not saying I'm cured by any stretch of the imagination.
1:51.0	Our text tells me that I get a daily reprieve contingent upon my spiritual condition.
