I can hear Skylarks all around. It's very much their breathing season and I'm on top of Selsley Common, which is

big open common land. It's a murky, misty, chilly day. Because of the mist, the view from up here

isn't what it might be. But I can see the white houses of Rodborough, Mentionhampton beyond,

and in the shadows, the rise of one of the many hills in this area.

We're not far from Stroud, but I'm not here today to admire the view.

I'm here to talk about, and I've immediately gone into my whispery voice because that's,

I feel like we've got to be in stalking mode. I'm here to

talk about big cats. Now your reaction straight away might be big cats. Don't be ridiculous.

That's all that rubbish about the beast of X more and you know there's no such thing. There's no cats in the wild in the UK.

And I thought that until an incident about seven years ago when we were recording ramblings in Herefordshire.

And this happened.
