Summary

Black Moon Lilith is a fictional point found at the lunar apogee, where the Moon is the darkest, as well as the most primal, instinctual, and wild. This Lilith point (one of 4) is most commonly referenced in natal astrology charts, yet Black Moon Lilith holds many energies connected to her astronomy, mythology, and astrology, which all overlap to create a powerful archetype. BML entered Libra in late June 2024 and immediately creates powerful connections to Pluto RX in Aquarius at 1 deg, Super Galactic Center at 2 deg Libra, and Sedna in Gemini at 0 deg in July and August 2024. Strong cosmic activations are occurring in relationships, friendships, family dynamics, and connection patterns that we're outgrowing by facing our own truths, fears, and unconscious needs. Then she moves on to make a conjunction to the South Node in Libra in August and September 2024, which signifies big completions, ending, and karmic closures. 0:00.0	Welcome to Intuitive Astrology with Molly McCord. Thank you so much for joining me today. This is a Monday podcast episode where we focus on a particular astrological topic or theme. And today we're going to discuss the energies of Black Moon Lilith, which has just moved into Libra and is making some significant aspects in July, August, and September
0:26.5	2024. So I wanted to go into what is going on with these transiting energies, but I think
0:34.5	it's also important to break down the different components of Lilith where there
0:40.2	is the astronomy, there is the mythology, and the astrology. And in addition to these topics,
0:48.7	I also wanted to go through the four different Liliths that exist in astrology because this is where it can get
0:58.7	really confusing. So when we are looking at black moon lilith, we are looking at a hypothetical
1:07.0	point connected to the lunar orbit around the earth.
1:13.6	And Black Moon Lilith that I'm going to be focusing on with the transiting energies
1:18.6	is the mean Black Moon Lilith, which is the average, the average of her movement.
1:26.6	And for those of you who follow along on your natal chart and you want to look up where your
1:32.3	natal black moon lilith is or where the transiting black moon lilith is, you would look up
1:39.3	H-12.
1:41.3	H-12 is how we identify black moon lilith with the mean calculation. Now there is also a black moon
1:50.2	lilith that is H-13 and this is known as oscillating black moon lilith. Also the true black moon-lilith. And that
2:00.6	means that what we calculate is not her
2:04.2	average, but it's more of her wild erratic movement related to the lunar apogee point.
2:15.0	And some people prefer to track this version of Black Moon Lilith, that is the
2:20.8	H-13, the oscillating version. And there's even a belief that this true version is more representative
2:29.7	of her energy because it is so wild and erratic and untamed.
2:35.2	But we're going to talk about H-12.
