Hey, everybody. Welcome to another edition of Rob Observations. I am your host, Rob Leifeld. We are back at it. We are, we are all about comic books and all of the amazing effects and influence that comic books has had on your life and has had on my life since I was pulling them off the spinner racks

at the liquor store and the mini markets of my youth, which occurred in the 1970s,

and then watching this comic book, just world of ideas and characters sprawl across the culture as it has and and and and is

and it's just become comic books have become the most influential anything that I have seen it's

it's it's it's just always going to blow me away how prominent the comic book culture has become

seeping across every aspect of everyday life no nowhere was this more evident than this past

week when i was able to attend the Los Angeles world premiere of Black Widow.

Black Widow! We've waited so long for this, right? And I mean, my oldest son, Luke and I were in

the 2019 Hall H of San Diego Comic-Con when the Black Widow was the big thing that they were

going to show everybody that summer and get everybody hyped.

And, you know, they had Scarlett Johansson there and they had some of the other cast members.

And that was the trailer that they had cut together to get us all,

you know, pumped and excited. And, you know, it was the first time the summer of 19 with the

Black Widow footage reveal that we saw, Taskmaster. We had heard that Taskmaster was going to be,

you know, featured. There was rumors. But then boom, then you see

taskmaster, you know, on the screen in action. And, you know, for my son, he turned to me and said,

who, who's that? I said, that's taskmaster. And one of my, my managers was with me, too,

because I was able to, I said, that's Red Guardian. Oh, and that, you know, I was,

I was pointing out all these different aspects during the trailer because I'm just blurting out

my childhood glee. I was just like, oh, Red Guardian, oh, Taskmaster. And again, who's that? Who's

that? And here's the deal. When I talk about my youth and grabbing these off the spinner rack, this is when Taskmaster

was born.
