Hi, this is Kennedy Fisher. It's Monday, the 2nd of November 2020. I'm in a rental

apartment in Amsterdam. And I'm here because I'm looking for someone. I'm named Aldrich

Kemp. I've come to believe he could be the key to finding that Heywood. How I got here

and who Aldrich Kemp is, I guess that's going to have to wait for another time. The UK

government has just announced there's going to be another lockdown starting Thursday. And

so I need to get back before all that starts. In the meantime, the BBC are getting ready

to release the latest season and I have to get all the material to them today. So what

you're going to listen to is the audio I recorded on the Summerton Man mystery. Matt suggested

I do this and he wanted to put it out as a bonus episode. If he had been around to do

the production, this could have been quite a number, but he wasn't. So this is just it

as I recorded it. Okay, so I get to do the Summerton Man story, which is one of my favorite

unsolved mysteries of all time. Apparently that doesn't qualify for it to go into a proper

episode of the show, but whatever. Richard McClain Smith would put this in an episode. Maybe

I should go work for him. Matt, can you at least put some decent sound design and shit

on this, please? So 6.30 a.m. December 1, 1948. Summerton Beach, just south of Adelaide,

Australia. The body of a man is found. He was in his early 40s and he was lying on the

sand with his head resting against the sea wall. He was wearing a suit and there was an

unlit cigarette on the right collar of his jacket, as if it had just dropped out of

his mouth before he could light it. A couple of witnesses came forward to say that they

had seen the guy in the same spot in the beach the previous evening and he had seemed
