And today would have been my mom's birthday.

And I wanted to make this special episode.

And, you know, if you listen to the previous episode, I released a sneak peek into chapter one.

And today, I want to do another sneak peek of the author's note to honor my mom.

And I want you to read the author's note. For me, I love to read. It's funny, I actually haven't read any books in like two years,

which is wild because I normally read at least a book a month. But in my own writing process,

of constantly having to write and then read and then write and then read and then write and then write and then read and then write and then read and then write and then

read my audiobook aloud and then edit and like all of those different things reading just became

something that felt like a chore it didn't feel like a luxury so after work after staring at

the same book right i guess technically it's not fair to say I didn't

read a book for two years. I basically read my book probably 150 times. So I kind of read like

multiple books a month if you think of it that way. I just didn't read any books outside of that.
