For some time now, Felix Seder has been an international man of mystery at the center

of the Trump Russia story.

It was Seder, a real estate associate and advisor at Donald Trump, who in 2015 dreamed

up the idea for a gleaming Trump Tower in Moscow, a project that he hoped would garner the

blessing of Vladimir Putin.

Seder was also a convicted felon, who in the 1990s had been indicted and convicted

of working with the mafia on a fraudulent pump and dump stock scheme that built investors

out of millions of dollars.

But Seder was also something else, a secret government informant who he claimed all

the while he was ranging deals for Trump was diming out mobsters, swindlers, and terrorists

to the FBI and CIA.

Most how important and genuine, Seder's cooperation with the government has long been a subject

of debate.

But now, newly revealed documents unsealed by a federal judge flesh out the picture, and

it turns out vindicates Seder more than his critics ever would have imagined.

Quote, Seder's cooperation was of a depth and breadth rarely seen.

Federal prosecutors in Brooklyn wrote in 2009 in a letter just now made public by the

US judge who oversaw his case.

For approximately 10 years, they wrote, Seder continuously worked with prosecutors and

law enforcement agents to provide information crucial to the conviction of over 20 different

individuals, including those responsible for committing massive financial fraud, members

of LaCosa, Nostra organized crime families, and international cyber criminals.
