Hello, this is Sam and this is a special bonus podcast because why not? This is today, the day that I'm going to be recording my hundredth episode and I decided that I'll do a

few special bonus episodes in addition to the regular ones because yeah I've been doing this for a while now and

yeah I'm this is the podcast equivalent of Sam Fold letting his hair down.

So this episode, I'm going to read one of my favorite poems,

Personally, I think that poetry can help us find something, perhaps only momentarily transcendent.

So something higher than ourselves, something that goes beyond our everyday normal lives.

Life can be so difficult and confusing sometimes.

It can be hard to put our feelings into words. It can be even harder

to find another person we think can understand us, to share our fears, our hopes, dreams. Poetry can touch and move us, it can conjure emotions,

ideas, and can let us know that we're not alone, that others have trod this path before us.

You know, I love to read poetry out loud and I strongly advise you all to try doing that sometime.

It can allow us to find an otherness inside ourselves, something almost extraordinary and a sublime.
