passage we've looked at yet when it comes to living out our Christian life.

I believe this passage reveals some things to us

that are so important to understand,

so important to grasp and apply.

We're going to be looking at John Chapter 15, beginning of verse number one, so if you have a copy of the

scripture, please take that out and follow along. Someone has asked what

translation I've been using. I use the English standard version and that's what we're going to

be using in our preaching going forward so if you want to grab a copy of the

ESV that would be great. All right John John Chapter 15.

This is Jesus speaking.

I am the true vine, and my father is the vine dresser.

Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away. And every

branch that does bear fruit he prunes that it may bear more fruit. Already you are clean because of the word

that I've spoken to you. Abide in me and I in you as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself

unless it abides in the vine,

neither can you, unless you abide in me.

I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I and him, he it is that bears
