Summary

Okay, my friend, this is the last of three BONUS episodes featuring audio pictures of my trip to Italy! If you didn't get to hear the first two episodes, then stop right here, go back, and listen from the beginning so you don’t miss a thing.

In this last episode, we’re visiting Pompeii, Sorrento, and Amalfi, and what a way to wrap up the trip. We soaked up more of the rich, Italian culture as we learned the history of Mount Vesuvius, listened to another beautiful Italian singer, cooled off in the ocean, and enjoyed a breathtaking view of Naples.

Plus, you guessed it, we drank more cappuccino! Italy is so much better with my 4:13ers, so let’s go…

0:00.0	Hi, 413ers. This is Jennifer. Welcome back to the third and the last set of my Italy
0:15.6	audio pictures. I'm really happy that you've joined me for this. It was 10 glorious, hot
0:23.9	days in one of my favorite places on the entire planet with some of my besties, Christi and Angela.
0:30.6	The only thing missing was my stud husband, Phil, and of course Casey. Oh my goodness, wouldn't
0:38.8	we have had just such a ball. Anyway, we're going to go back to Italy and this next day we did
0:45.6	wiki wiki, as Vanessa says, and we headed to Pompeii and then Serrento.
1:01.1	We are now in Pompeii. We just walked through the whole touristy part of the little town that
1:07.8	has been frozen in time from the eruption of Malvasuvius in 79 AD. And now we are sitting at a
1:15.7	table in a restaurant. There's a nice breeze, but it is still about 97 degrees out here.
1:23.0	And we, this is thank you, Christi is providing a breeze from her fan, and we were told we need to get
1:30.7	some lemon chello spritzer, which is something I never drink, but right now I think I might
1:38.3	sound so good whatever it is. We're going to have lunch and then we're heading on to Serrento.
1:53.2	So we are at the hotel flora in Serrento. It's a really nice hotel. We just had dinner,
2:00.7	and now we're sitting outside on the patio. And there's a live singer and she's excellent.
2:08.8	It's been a hot hot day in Pompeii and it's a little cooler, which means it's in the 80s.
2:17.2	We have my standards changed.
2:28.4	Beautiful. Right standing here in Serrento right on the coastline,
2:34.7	overlooking a balcony. Capri was cancelled today because of significant winds,
2:41.2	which are probably something you can hear very clearly. But we're standing over the coast,
2:45.7	and Angela was describing the jagged rocks that surround and how that waves are crashing
2:51.8	up upon the rocks. And it is just beautiful. Over to my right is Mount Vesuvius and Pompeii.
3:01.0	But even though it's very windy and we're disappointed about Capri being cancelled,
