Today we're going to really talk about the movie, the history, and the book. So we're going to, we have our work cut out for us today. And it had a runtime of 112 minutes. 1:45.4

But the detail in the costumes and like you said, the accents and the languages, really all match incredibly well to the time period.

1:55.0

All of the costumes are handmade in the style that would have been in the mid-1700s.

2:01.6

Everything from the moccasins and not just the clothing,

2:04.5

but the boats, the bows and arrows, the weapons were forged

2:09.2

by both people that are native artisans and people that study mid-18th century warfare.

2:16.3

Can you give us a quick context of what the movie,

2:19.0

it says that it starts in 1757. What was going on in 1757 and what would become New York

2:27.2

State, which was the colony of New York at the time? Oh boy, it is incredibly complicated.
