So he basically came out the other day and mentioned how his estimated glomerular filtration rate is under 15.

So technically that is stage five of chronic kidney disease and would be a way to diagnose kidney failure at that level. So obviously that is a pretty startling thing to discover and is literally like his doctors are probably thinking, you know, it's time for fucking dialysis at this point, which is terrifying as a bodybuilder.

It's one of your worst fears is to have kidney failure, obviously.

Now he self admittedly has left his blood pressure unchecked, well not unchecked.

He's been checking it for years.

He's just never done anything about it.

So when I say unchecked, he hasn't really done anything to modulate it. So expectedly, you know, for years. He's just never done anything about it. So when I say unchecked,

something was eventually going to come and bite him in the ass if he didn't kind of get in front

of it. And a lot of his friends were, you know, telling him to get on an NGO-tencin receptor

blocker to do something in order to get it under control.

Actually, I don't think anyone recommended an ARB specifically.

Specifically, I think they recommended ace inhibitors and beta blockers first, and he tried a bunch

of stuff.

And some of it he didn't like very much in terms of the side effect profile.

So he came off of them and he would just leave it leave it high and

you know he didn't feel bad so he just uh you know left it now he's sort of uh paying the price a bit

and now i think this is like a reality check for him and he went on rx muscle and leo on longevity's show

um as you know leo friend of the channel and he's been featured on this channel a few times before and I've one of the only podcasts I ever did was on his channel too which if you haven't checked that out I recommend you do great source of information and I think Dave actually from RX muscle gets a lot of his
