I get set up till you a little bit of my story. My dad was a union drywaller and a blue collar

guy's. He got a truck, he got a tool belt, he got a thermos full of coffee every morning. That was

my dad. Union drywaller construction worker and I grew up next to an airport before there was

an incorporated city, so a lot of prostitution and drugs and violence and gangs and I was one of

the only kids in my neighborhood to have the honor of actually having a father and really nobody in

my family. I didn't know of any man that had ever been to college and I didn't know of any men in

my family, my immediate line. There were Christians and so I ended up getting a scholarship and heading

off to college and there I was sitting in my dorm room as a freshman and I had to read some philosophy

for a class at the state university and in addition to that was given a Bible by a young woman that

I've since married and my little joke is always if you're single guy a woman buys you a Bible,

buy her a ring, call it a deal. That was kind of our deal and so I was sitting there in my dorm room

reading the Bible and I literally got a word from God from Romans chapter one and it said and you

are called to belong to Jesus Christ and at that moment it was like God flipped the switch in my

soul and all of a sudden I realized I don't belong to me, I belong to Jesus Christ. My life is not

my own, my life now belongs to Jesus Christ and I was trying to figure out okay what does this mean

because not growing up in a Christian home or with a Christian father or from a Christian heritage,
