Afternoon Update. El Salvador's president, Naib Buckele, said he won't return an illegal alien

who was reportedly wrongly deported from Maryland back to the U.S.

The question is preposterous. How can I smuggle a terrorist to the United States? I don't have the power to

return him to the United States. So you could really see him inside of the fellow room?

Yeah. I mean, we just turned the murder capital of the world into the safest country of the

Western Hemisphere and you want us to go back into the releasing criminals so we can go back

to being the murder capital of the world. Daily Wire reporter Tim Pierce has the latest.

The comments came during a White House meeting with President Trump.

The president agreed with Buckele, accusing reporters of wanting criminals released.

This comes after the Supreme Court ruled Kilmar-Abrego-Garcia's deportation to El Salvador was improper,

citing a judge's 2019 order barring his deportation.

White House advisor Stephen Miller is pushed back, saying Garcia was sent to the right place.
