I think it shows what the Bears are trying to do, Alex, is really dive into the special teams.

They're taking care of the lines, they're taking care of the trenches, but they're also making sure the special teams is a point of emphasis. And obviously, with the proposed rule change that would push the touchbacks back to the up to the 35-yard line. So you're going to see a lot more kick returns. I mean,

special teams is huge. So you're creating a lot more competition on the bottom of the roster.

People always talk about the competition at the top of the roster, but the competition at the bottom of the roster is really what brings the floor up of your team. So I think this

play. And we were looking up some stats about McLeod and you look at him. He's, McLeod was played more

snaps in special teams, 560 than he has on defense, 537 in his last 32 games going back to the start of the 2023 season.

So he can play defense, but his predominant role is going to be on special teams, and he is good at it.

We also looked at some of the statistics as far as Gunner win rate that pro football focus has.

He's top 15 in the NFL. So this is a guy that can get it done and there's a technique to this.
