I want to look at two passages of scripture. I want to look at Hebrews chapter 10, verses 35 and 36.

And then I also want to look at the gospel according to Matthew.

I want to look at chapter 26. We'll start at verse 36 and go down to verse 46.

When you read it, you'll read it and say, yeah, if you're not ready, say, how long?

I'm not where hurry up. Come on, come on. He brews chapter 10, starting at verse number 35 and it declares,

so do not throw away your confidence. It will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere.

Look at your neighbor say, don't quit so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.

That was so nice. I want to read it twice and plus past the mic said, I can take my time today.

The right of Hebrew says, so do not throw away your confidence.

Can you say, amen. I want to look at a moment in the life of Jesus and Matthew chapter 26.

And it says, then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane.

And he said to them, sit here while I go over there and pray.

He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee with him and he began to be sorrowful and troubled.

Then he said to them, my soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death.

Stay here and keep watch with me. Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, my father, if it is possible,

may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.

Then he returned to his disciples and found them calling on the name of the Lord, speaking in tongues and walking back.

No, no, they went in that spirit. They were sleeping.

And he said to them, could you man keep watch with me for one hour? He asked Peter, watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation.
