You've shot a bear.

Now what?

You feel good about your shot, but it vanished into the brush.

Now you have to deal with recovery and then with processing.

And with me here today, I've got my friend Morris Malani from Alaska Arms who has shot a lot more bears than I ever will.

And he's going to talk us through the process, his process of being out there as a solo

hunter.

So you don't have a guide or anybody to count on to pull you out of the thicket one.

The going gets gnarly, right?

How do you go about recovering that bearer and then handling the hide and so forth to get the

best results.
