guests today, a couple of my favorite people in the industry. I've got

Callie Parmley, editor-in-chief of Backcountry Hunter magazine, and Shandy Campbell, who is kind of like the real authority the moving

force behind all of Browning right Shandy? I know with that.

We're We're here to talk about kind of a cool adventure that Shandy and Callie and another friend of there, Tess, who's not with us today, have planned in Alaska.

They're doing a DIY caribou hunt way up in the north.

Shandy and Callie, I'm just delighted you could join me here today and would love to hear just a little bit of background from each of you so our listeners know who we're visiting with Shandy do you mind kicking us off?

Sure. So I'm Shandy Campbell. I've been with Browning for

eight years now and I'm a senior marketing manager. I come from a background and

hunting grew up hunting. In the. My first big game animal was an elk and

Cali and I went down this road to finding this hunt almost a year ago now so it's been a long

time coming I think there's all of anticipation

around it. Very nice and Callie tell us about yourself. Sure so I'm

Callie Parmline and Enter and Chief of Backcountry Hunter magazine and gun dog magazine.

I started out with Peterson's Hunting magazine.

That's how JVB and I got to know each other really well.

He obviously is a large contributor to Peterson's.

And worked for Peterson's for four or five years

as associate managing editor

and then moved on to backcountry hunter and started big game hunting later in life and really fell in love with it.

I got really addicted to the backpacking type hunting,

DIY type things.
