Callie, and Tess, who recently did a drop camp DIY caribou hunt in Alaska. Now we

recorded and published an episode in late August with

Shandy and Callie about their their plans, their prep, their expectations,

anticipations, and so forth for the hunt. So this is really exciting for me to get to

sit down with these hard hunting ladies and hear the stories from that hunt. So

Shandy, Callie, and Tess, just delighted you could join me here today.

You bet. Now, Tess, you weren't on the previous episode do you mind just telling our

listeners a little bit about yourself before we dive in so they have a sense of

who you are.

Sure so my name is Tess Rousie. I am a photographer in the hunting industry. I've been a freelance

photographer since 2012. I've been in the outdoor industry in my entire career.

I started at Kabelas on the internet side.

But then I actually been hunting my entire life.

So I started hunting with my dad in Central Nebraska. So

hunting just comes natural to me so I put my two loves of hunting and

photography together. No, that's outstanding and if if I'm not mistaken, you were the only one that had hunted

Caribou in this region where you went and really far north Alaska, correct?
