As a young adult, Carmen's occasional porn habit turned perpetual, which you realize when he was looking at porn even when he didn't feel like it.

As a drug and alcohol counselor,

Carmen felt like a hypocrite because he was helping others in addiction recovery

while struggling with an addiction himself.

In this episode, he shares with us what inspired him to break free from his unwanted

porn habit and what has helped in his recovery.

So, Carmen, if you want to just give us a brief introduction of who you are,

a little bit about yourself that you want to share?

I'm from southwestern Pennsylvania.

I grew up in the Pittsburgh area, and I've kind of been around this area all my life.

And I grew up in a really good loving home.

And I have a family of my own now.

My wife and I, we have all boys. So I'm a family of my own now. My wife and I, we have, you know, we have all boys.

So I'm a boy dad.

So that makes things exciting.

I'm a bit of a, a bit of a nerd on some things.

I'm a Lego nerd.

I love Marvel stuff and Lord of the Rings and Star Wars and all that kind of stuff.

And I currently work as a drug and alcohol counselor at a state prison here in Pennsylvania.
