On the 4th of March 2008, Julian Buckwell took his girlfriend, Carolyn Watson, for a picnic

lunch tour waterfall, located on a remote property in Budgerie, country Victoria.

The day soon turned into a nightmare when Julian and Carolyn were abducted by a master

attacker.

It wasn't long before Julian's mother located a frightening note from a satanic cult

claiming responsibility for the abduction and threatening to kill both Julian and Carolyn,

both of whom were devout Christians.

Julian Buckwell was 22 years old. He was from Budgerie, a small country town in the Latrobe

Valley in Victoria, about 160 kilometres, which is about 100 miles south-east of Melbourne.

Carolyn Watson was 17 years old.

Trilivni bought a Julian in the town of Churchill, also in the Latrobe Valley of Victoria.

They were both small country towns and both Julian and Carolyn still live with their parents.

On the 4th of March 2008, Julian and Carolyn had organised a picnic that Julian's parents

property in Budgerie.

The property was a rural, remote area, mostly bushland.

It covered an area of about 500 hectares, which is about 5 kilometres squared or around

2 more squared, so it's a pretty large area.
