Today we're going to be talking about the binding affinity of CB 0301, how it, you know,

stacks up to the endogenous androgens that you're actually trying to defend against at the AR,

how it, you know, stacked up against, uh, more traditional and widely used anti-androgens like

RU58841.

It was actually a bit hard to find this, but I did find it. So basically I'll put up the clinical studies where I got this data from, but I'm basically

So CB-1301 binds to the AR and androgen receptors.

When I say AR, I'm referring to the androgen receptor.

So as you probably already know, if you're even looking at topical anti-androgens to begin

with, basically there's androgen receptors everywhere in your body and hair follicles, that's

how androgens, you know, transcribe their effects in tissues and that's how eventually

the cascade of events leads to hair follicle miniaturization, hypoxia of the, you know, scalp

region to begin with is this cascade effect

triggered by AR activation in the scalp area.

So the theory or premise behind antigens is you use something that can occupy those

androgen receptors topically without getting systemic or at least minimally getting systemic to a very, you know, negligible

degree that you don't get side effects from it, which is like nearly impossible for every single

person, but for many people it's an efficacious treatment choice with low side effect profile.

But anyways, the whole point is you apply it topically to stay localized.
