I mean, I think it would be a surprise to a lot of Americans that if the FDA has information

through a voluntary recall about a product out there that's been contaminated, let's take, for

example, the applesauce contaminated with chromium and lead, that you're barred from sharing

that information.

That's bananas, that the Food and Drug Administration is not allowed to tell us when there are dangerous

things that they know of in our food.

That's crazy.

I am so damn tired of being like to.

I don't think I can deny it anymore you can't stick to your story if you think it flies. But I'm not going to buy it anymore.

And this episode might feel a lot like the last episode

because the last episode was episode 305. I called it freaky food. And it was an episode that

highlighted testimony from two congressional events. One was a roundtable that was hosted by

Senator Ron Johnson

and had all kinds of health experts that were testifying about our food supply. And then there was

also a hearing that took place and there was some testimony from that hearing as well. I took the

highlights from those two events and gave you an episode about it. And some of the things that we

learned in there were, you know, the effects of ultra-processed foods on our health.

If you haven't heard the episode, I can just summarize it for you in that the effects are not good.

We also learned about some chemicals that are hiding in our food and a disturbing government process for getting them approved.
