Summary

As we kick off Black History Month, we’re zeroing in on an actor famous for playing larger-than-life characters onscreen. After a slow and steady ascension up the showbiz ladder, South Carolina native Chadwick Boseman knocks it out of the park with his portrayal of Jackie Robinson in “42.” And after his regal performance in “Black Panther,” he becomes Hollywood royalty. But then, when Chadwick is at the top of his game, he’s dealt a devastating blow - a stage-3 colon cancer diagnosis. He handles the unthinkable with quiet dignity, keeping it completely under wraps while still helping others. One thing’s for certain - even though Chadwick is no longer with us, his incredible legacy remains. He was a talented actor and true humanitarian: a real life superhero.
