But today is different because I do not want there to be any confusion or ambiguity with

Today is not a day to celebrate, but the arrest of Richard M. Allen of Delphi on two counts

of murder is sure a major step in leading to the conclusion of this long term and complex

investigation.

We've always said that if there is a significant update that you would hear from us again, there

has been an arrest in the murders of Abigail Williams and Liberty, German.

For two thousand and eighty-six days, Becky Patty has woken up every day and posted on

social media that today is the day.

A relentless belief that there would be an arrest.

It appears that on October 31st, 2022, it just may be that day.

The Sheriff's Office and community members continue to look for two missing girls.

Two bodies were found along the edge of deer creek about a mile east of Delphi, not far

from Monon High Bridge where the girls were last seen.

We are investigating this as a crime scene.

We suspect by a play.

It's amazing that we have a video, we have a still photograph, we have sound and we don't

know this person is.
