A couple of weeks ago, I made a podcast about what my investment account had earned in a year.

And I talked all about how what I had earned in a year, or what I should say my account had grown in a year,

was more than what I used to make in college in a full year alone. And so I talked all about

that and really just about building wealth passively and the power of investing. I alluded to my next big

goal, which we're going to talk about today. So to back it up a little bit in 2015, I basically

discovered that I was $36,000 in debt, some from a car loan, some from student loans.

And I have a whole episode really about my story. But my first big goal at that point was to

become debt free. So in 18 months, I went on this journey of figuring out finances and paying off my debt,

and I was able to pay off $36,000 of debt in 18 months, which was so stinking cool.

And I shared that journey and that milestone online.

And then I started sharing my next school.

My next school was saving and fully funding an emergency fund.

So then I shared that online. And then my next school and my next goal and my next goal and my next school,

I continued sharing online as I saved up to buy my first property, which was the lakehouse
