you know dFS previews bets and one and done things that that expire just a few hours later

these are hopefully some larger topics that I can cover so if you have anything specific

email me or whatever. For this week, I'm going to talk about contest selection. It is one of

the most common questions that I receive and there's so much going on. There's a bit of

nuance in the differences between some of these contests. I thought it would be worth a dedicated video to discuss it.

So without further ado, the first episode of Strategy Saturday is underway.

The absolute first thing you should consider when thinking about contests is what are your goals?

What are your goals in playing DFS? What are your goals making

bets, right? Like always figure that out first. So for example, are you trying to make a little

extra side income? A couple hundred bucks a month? Are you trying to take this seriously? If you are,

you should be trying to grind, you know, a small single digit percentage

ROI over a long period of time. And you should take your small edges and you should take those

small edges as often as possible. If you're like me, you just want kind of a lottery ticket.

You want to have fun. You want to have entertainment. You want to have something that you can sweat over the course of four days, for example, and you want something

that's going to, you know, change your life a bit, right? You know, $50,000 up top, $100,000 up top for

first prize. Now, the thing is, based on your goals, you should be entering different

contests drastically. You know, if you are entering the lottery type tickets and your goals are

to churn a small ROI, you're probably in big trouble and vice versa. So first off is

identifying your goals, figuring out what is important to you, and then you can head over into

the lobby and find the contest that are best suited for your own goals.
