Welcome, welcome, welcome. This is the distraction pieces podcast episode 604. And might I say,

this is a classic episode. Brace yourselves. It's a classic episode. Not only does it have maybe

the coolest artwork and the one I post on on instagram in particular the digital selfie that we do

fun fact and something worth noting on the polaroid and on the digital for all the real nerds out there

when i have a guest on that i recorded over zoom and we haven't met in person i print out their

face cut it out of paper and blue tack it to a wall kind of in my garden.

Myself and today's guest, Christopher MacArthur Boyd, took the real life selfie in that exact

spot and it's the first time that's happened. So it's very exciting. You'll probably see bits

of blue tack in the background. As I mentioned, today's guest is the

wonderful Christopher McCarthur Boyd. Christopher is a comedian and a podcaster does co-hosts one of my

favorite podcasts. Here comes the guillotine with Frankie Boyle and Susie McCabe. It's a joy. It's

wonderful. If you're not already listened to it, go and give

it a listen. But me and Christopher have got a whole load of mutual friends. And because of the podcast,

I'd always heard good things, but because of the podcast, I've become a huge fan. And we sat down

and chatted, and we could have chatted for hours on end honestly you're going

to love this one we go off on so many tangents we go in so many circles up so many heels up so many

hills down so many valleys it's a real classic distraction pieces conversation i feel because we get

into heavy stuff we get into ludicrous stuff. It's irreverent in places.

It's probably mildly offensive.

We probably say several things that we maybe shouldn't say.

I don't know if Buddy Peace is going to bleep anything out on this episode, but I mean,

time will tell.
