Today's is interesting. Dr. Aron and I are going through the Great Contemporary's book is a bridge

between the history of the English-speaking people in the start of the Great War, the world crisis.

And today we're going to talk about Lurk Kurson, who lived from 1898 until I don't know, he lived a

long time. Kurson 1859 to 1925. 1925, isn't that remark? And so his life spans a lot, and he was

a viceroy of India, and he was a golden child, but I get the sense that he was a failure. Am I right?

Yeah. Well, there was a kind of contrast with Kurson because he was spectacular. He was powerful.

He was commanding, and he was ineffective. As a debater, as a, you know, he didn't move the house.

He, you know, he came within a whisker of being Prime Minister, but he, and you know,

if you're calculating, I mean, there are a bunch of people running for president right now,

and they're thinking about that all the time, and they're calculating, and they, you know,

it makes the achievement of Donald Trump spectacular, by the way, because he just came out of nowhere.
