Hello, everyone. Welcome back to another episode of the playing

round podcast with Paige and Teddy G. How has your Labor Day weekend been so far?

Paige, it's been great. It's kind of like alternate sport weekend.

Taken full advantage of the fact that there was no kid soccer.

There was no NFL on Sunday. So we did a bunch of cool stuff.

Saturday we went to a pickleball tournament. I don't know if you know what that is, but

yeah, everyone's like obsessed with pickleball now.

And like I have the pickleball equipment, but I've never played because I grew up

not really playing tennis, but being in a tennis family.

And so now everyone like we were we were looking for courts the other day.

And they're all pickleball courts. Now there are no tennis courts.

Yeah, sweeping the nation and you can see why like the records are inexpensive.

You basically just use a wiffle ball and it only takes up one third the size of a tennis court.

And it's just it's just easy.

And it's got a fun name, right? It was named after a dog named Pickles.

So how can you go wrong with that?

The one key rule is you have to stay out of what's called the kitchen,

which is like a couple of feet from the net.

So you can't just like smash it down the throats of the guys you're playing against.

But it's usually in doubles. I had a friend who competed.

So we checked that out Saturday.
