He's not as bullish on Apple as Wed Bush analyst, Daniel Ives, but city analyst Atif Malick

may be as big a believer.

A piece from Barron's had Malik reiterating his positive rating on Apple's shares

and his fairly aspirational-sounding price target in a note released on Tuesday.

All of that is based on a smarter Siri.

Yes, he's heard about Apple's announcement last month

that had the Cooper Tino company pushing some of the most anticipated Apple intelligence features into the next year.

The delay doesn't seem to bother him.

Rather, he's turned on by the fact that the features are still said to be coming.

According to Barron's, Malik and friends think Apple is likely to reset Siri software expectations on its next earnings call.

The report says the analyst said investors shouldn't see a big Siri update with on-screen awareness, personal context, and deep app integration in 2026 and the iOS 19 cycle,

while more advanced series should arrive sometime between 2026 and 27.

Not that there aren't points of concern.

The piece has the analyst citing potential headwinds,

including a weaker demand environment

and ramping tensions between the U.S. and China.
