When you looked at all the pictures that were being played in the penultimate round of

matches of this Champions League group stage, one really stood out because it actually really mattered.

Jeopardy was at stake very much so, as PSG were taking on Manchester City, given the form of both of these sides going into the tie, Manchester City,

looked like they were going

to take all three points from the French capital. 2-0 up, but then they absolutely collapsed.

Collapse to a stage in which PSG would win this game by four goals to two and it could have

been more. What does all that mean with regard to where we stand in this competition? Well, for PSG, three important points to them, takes them up to 22nd, not guaranteed a place

knockout stages, but very much looking better than he did, of course, when they're 2-0 down.

For Manchester City, they take on Club Bruges on the final match day, which is next Wednesday.

If they win that, they're through. If they don't, they are out.
