0:25.0	Brilliant. And could you tell me how you got interested in astrology?
0:31.0	Yes, my brother-in-law was Patrick Curry, and he did my chart for me. This must have been in the 1970s,
0:42.0	and I was struck by how accurate it was but I thought he'd
0:48.2	asked my sister for information so I decided to investigate a little further.
0:56.0	So I bought Margaret Holmes textbook on astrology
0:59.5	and learned how to cast a chart
1:02.0	and the modern ephemeris and things like that and tried to find out what it was and my theory was that it was rubbish and I was a con and I was going to prove it wrong. But it turned out not to be wrong to be rather good actually and I sort of had to eat my words at the end of it.
1:23.2	So you were skeptical originally?
1:25.2	Very so, yeah.
1:26.6	Okay, is that naturally an inclination for you?
1:29.8	Well, I'm an electronics engineer, so things that don't have obvious connections I'm
1:37.8	skeptical of I'm skeptical of quite a lot of things actually I used to be skeptical of people on what I considered
1:44.9	fad diets like vegetarianism and so on then, but I've had to eat my words yet again and I've
1:51.3	went vegetarian in the early 70s.
1:55.0	Okay, so this is maybe a recurring theme for you in different areas?
1:58.0	Yeah. I get told things in one point when I'm in younger and I found them to be not exactly what I was told later on in life.
2:08.0	Brilliant. So you start studying astrology in the 1970s and you get very serious about it.
