The Church in England to me looks like a field that's been burnt.

So you look around and you think, oh, the people go, the churches are empty, numbers are declining, it looks like it's completely dead.

And then you look a bit closer at the field that's sort of been burnt and you can see little green shoots

emerging and that is the hope for the future. thrive in life and leadership. Well, we're going to have a very encouraging

conversation today. I mean, you know, it's a lot of doom and gloom out there and if

you're looking for a ray of hope, well you've come to the right place because I've got Mickey

Gumble and Archie Coates on the podcast today they're doing incredible work in

England and in many ways I've spent a bit of time in England over the last few years

I see England as a precursor of what

could and hopefully should happen in North America in the future as the church

re-energizes and you know they've kind of gone from post-Christian culture and it's

pretty exciting anyway I'm excited for you to be here I think you're going to enjoy
