Oh man, Joe, the vibes are good, man.

Let's start with the transition.

I obviously want to spend most of the show talking about Kamla Harris,

but as of last night, Joe Biden's one of probably I think will go down as one of the most

consequential and important Oval Office speeches in recent memory, but obviously unprecedented, sitting president opting not to run for another term, passing the torch.

Joe, let's talk about President Biden first.

Yeah, his speech was exactly right tone and a reminder of why we elected him in, you know,

president in 2020. I mean, he said then, you know, that he was, you know, that he was driven to save the soul of the nation and to protect the White House from Donald Trump ever returning.

He did that and then he gave us three and a half years and will give us another six months of a great presidency but

Selflessly kept his mission which is to stop Trump and protect democracy.

And I think, you know, the best line was I revere this office,

but I love my country more.

And by the way, can you imagine Donald Trump ever saying anything like that? I mean the

humility of that. He did hug a flag. He hugged a flag. Yeah, he did, but come on.

Anyway, you know, a couple other things. It's been the honor of my life to serve as your

president, but in the defense of democracy, which is at stake, I think it's more important
