0:24.9	For that, though, we want to give you an update on the case of Abby Choi, the influencer
0:30.4	and model who was killed and dismembered in Hong Kong by allegedly her former-in-laws.
0:37.2	When we left the case, five people had been arrested in connection with the murder.
0:41.5	The suspects included Choi's ex-husband, ex-brother-in-law, ex-father-in-law, and ex-mother-in-law.
0:48.2	The fifth person arrested was a woman who was having an affair with the ex-father-in-law
0:52.9	who allegedly rented him the flat where the gruesome killing took place.
0:58.1	Almost as soon as we published the show, a sixth arrest was made in the case.
1:02.1	The man, Lam Shun, was an employee of a pleasure boat rental business, and according to
1:07.4	a source he had been offered $300,000 Hong Kong dollars, or about $38,000 US, to organize
1:14.3	an escape by boat for Abby's ex-husband, Alex Kwong.
1:18.5	The plan had been for Kwong to take a boat from a Hong Kong pier into international waters
1:24.1	where another boat would be waiting to pick him up.
1:27.1	Local authorities foiled the plan and arrested Kwong, which led to his later arrest of his
1:32.5	accomplice.
1:33.5	Lam was released this week on $50,000 Hong Kong dollars bail.
1:38.4	Another accomplice in the escape plan, 29-year-old Irene Pun, was arrested and appeared in court
1:43.4	this week, being accused of arranging for a yacht to help Alex flee to Macau, quote,
1:49.0	knowing or believing him to be guilty of the offense of murder.
