1:31.0	Here's the paragraph. Isn't it strange that the Pharisees and Sages would demand that Jesus show them, quote,
1:38.8	a sign from heaven?
1:40.1	Weren't his many well-known miracles enough?
1:43.3	What about his powerful teachings or the multiple ways he had fulfilled ancient prophecies?
1:48.9	Their demand was prompted not by a lack of signs, but by an unwillingness to discern the signs and accept them.
1:57.0	It struck us as we were reading that paragraph that Jesus himself was the sign.
2:02.0	Remember what the Prophet Isaiah had said in Chapter 7.
2:05.4	Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign. Behold a virgin shall conceive and bear
2:12.4	a son and shall call his name Emmanuel.
2:16.0	That's Isaiah 714.
