Young men today are less likely to move out of the house. They are less likely to have a partner.

They are less likely to have sex. They are less likely to go to university. They're less likely to

be employed. And they're more likely to die of an overdose. I mean, we just go down the ranks.

We have demonized the male role model. They are all toxicly masculine. We have a culture of moving

away from confrontation, moving away from

things that are hard when as men, those are oftentimes the things that we need to learn how to do,

how to be with, how to grapple with, in order to develop our character. If I'm honest, Connor,

and I look at London Real, it's my search for an alpha male figure. It's not that my dad wasn't that

figure, but I think as men were always looking for those figures. There is something about

masculinity that requires elderhood, that requires the transmission of maturity from the elder men down through the ranks.

When we don't have that, what ends up happening is the highest rates of male mortality,

overdoses and substance abuse occur, because men go into this stage where we start taking

a tremendous amount of risk. We're missing that

sharpening stone. For someone out there who just really feels lost, who looks at that dating scene

and they see a pool of women that have these crazy expectations, they can get immediate affirmation

online by posting any picture. If you're a man in this situation, what are some of the things you can tell them?

You get off the dating apps.

They're really brutal.

I would reorient my life towards designing and building myself into somebody that I respected.

If you respect yourself, you will attract more quality, more high value.

You just naturally will.

That will fundamentally change your life.
