I would like to thank all of you for joining me today. And Brianna, I'll start with you. Why create war? Why create the Wolverines Against Racism?

Yeah. First of all, thanks for having me. War was birthed out of a series of social injustice events and police brutality in the wake of

a lot of civil unrest. We decided that it will be good to just have a community, a consistent

group of people that we could have to lean on and to kind of process these events. It definitely

was difficult seeing everything going on in the media and having to process that alone. And so,

you know, it kind of started with a few unity calls that we did. They were department-wide. And so

we decided to get, you know, coaches, staff,

whoever may want to join on those calls, just to, you know, have a safe space to speak.
