Summary

Conversion is a radical change of life. And in its early days, Christianity grew through conversions. It spread so rapidly that it changed a hostile society completely. What does it mean to become a Christian? By looking at the conversions in Acts, we can see what Christianity really is. In this passage, the conversion of an Ethiopian, we learn three things: 1) who converts, 2) the context of conversion, and 3) the key instrument conversion uses. This sermon was preached by Dr. Timothy Keller at Redeemer Presbyterian Church on November 16, 2003. Series: The Necessity of Belief. Scripture: Acts 8:26-40. 1:15.0	the Prophet. Do you understand what you are reading? Philip asked. How can I?
1:20.4	he said unless someone explains it to me so we invited Philip to come up and sit with him
1:26.7	the eunuch was reading this passage of scripture he was like he was led like a sheet to the slaughter and as a lamb before the shearer is silent
1:36.1	so he did not open his mouth. In his humiliation he was deprived of justice.
1:41.6	Who can speak of his descendants?
1:44.0	For his life was taken from the earth?
1:47.0	The eunuch asked Philip,
