saying that there's nothing new under the sun. Yeah, this one's new. This one's pretty new,

and it's unique because it operates at 80,000 PSI internal pressure. Folks, I'm here with my good

friend Ron Spomer, and we are going to talk about the 7M

backcountry cartridge and its performance in the field.

I kind of am.

Yeah.

You know, I'm a traditionalist at heart, a purist.

I grew up with a dad that believed anything designed after 1895 was worthless as a rifle or a cartridge.

Yeah, I have lots of viewers like that.

Well, bless them, right?

So I've still got a big, strong, you know, bit of that in my own soul.

But I also do really love and appreciate innovation

that's really significant. This is significant. Yeah, it's very different. So it's rooted in

military technology, really, where they've gone to using a stronger cartridge case to contain

more pressure with the result that they can push bullets faster.

Yeah.

So in a nutshell, the 7-M-Bckcountry cartridge uses apparent case that's made out of steel.
