You are full, you are connected to your culture, and you may get harder.

Today we're going to follow up with our friends at COVID Surge.

So while the pandemic has been raging, they have been hard at work,

studying the interface between COVID and all things surgery.

And I've got to say they've produced some really amazing work in an insanely short amount of time.

And this stuff impacts our day-to-day lives as surgeons around the country and around the world.

And questions like, how long should you wait to operate on a patient who has had COVID symptomatic or otherwise?

And what do you tell your patients about this?

What is their risk can we calculate that?

What about vaccines?

Should an elective surgery wait until a patient has been vaccinated?

Or not?
