That animal is particularly curious and particularly courageous. So it grabbed my camera before I had a chance to move away.

And I didn't want to just grab it out of its arms and give it a fright.

I was hoping it would give it back to me or just leave it.

But it actually turned the camera and started filming her.

What it did was it gave us this incredible perspective of the animal from its point of view.

And I think that's the key thing, this deep connection with animals and we have these

relationships.

And that's why my strategy is to show the magnificence of these creatures and connect as many

people as possible to the wild and to nature, especially in their backyards.

Because as soon as you've made that connection, it's very difficult to want to harm nature

and you'd be prepared to sacrifice many things in your life because to protect what you love.

A more famous octopus, among the many hundreds, maybe thousands of octopuses he's met

during his dives, was one that became the unlikely star of a
