Summary

In this episode, we are joined by Emma Powell, a real estate photographer turned real estate investor to share how she came to success in real estate investing despite her hectic schedule homeschooling children of six and being a full-time teacher.Emma always loved real estate. She learned graphic design as a kid drawing floor plans on her family's first computer. She was a real estate photographer for 10 years, then she realized that to not only retire well but retire early, she was on the wrong side of the camera and needed to shift to the investor role. She had generated cash wealth through investing in her personal homes, so it only made sense to use that to start a real estate business. So this stay-at-home mom-tographer bought up multi-family properties as a sole owner, then partnered with others to go bigger with large commercial apartment buildings as her niche asset class.

Emma’s natural passion for teaching oozes out of everything she does. She loves educating passive income capital partners in gaining knowledge to invest responsibly while earning a better return on their money and time.

Specialties: large multi-family real estate investing, value-add real estate, rehabbing, rentals, landlord, asset management, project management, content marketing
