0:39.8	Before we get to the actual story I I want to give you some background.
0:44.0	Because the woman you're about to hear from,
0:46.0	spoiler alert, her name is Kathy Kleiner and she survived an attack
0:50.0	by the serial killer Ted Bundy on the night of January 15th in 1978 in the
0:55.8	Chi omega house. Ted Bundy attacked five women that night and three of them
1:00.8	survived him.
1:07.0	He killed two, two of the girls in the sorority house survived, and then he went on to attack another girl,
1:10.0	and she also survived.
1:17.0	Now I lost my train of thought because I got so worked up about Ted Boney. Where was I going with this?
1:18.0	How Kathy and I know each other.
1:20.0	Last year I had written an article for the website Vulture and this article was just kind of an overview of all the pop culture about Ted Bundy that was coming out that year and this year.
1:34.8	Anyway, the article goes up. That very night I check my email and there is an
1:40.0	email in my inbox from someone named Kathy Kleiner. Now I knew her name. I had read
1:47.1	her story. I had read her name in Anne Rules Book The Stranger Beside Me.
1:53.0	I had read her name in newspaper articles,
1:56.0	and now she's in my inbox.
