Listen, what we live for at Living Proof is to serve people, the Word of God.

We base our ministry on Hebrews 412 that tells us that the Word is alive and active.

We pray this message is going to serve you in some way today and that God

is going to speak through it. Thank you so much for giving us this privilege. Go with me now

to Matthew Chapter 14. Matthew 14, verse 25, very, very familiar surroundings.

If you're familiar with the story of the Gospels, if you look in verse 25, during the fourth watch

of the night, Jesus went out to them walking on the lake.

When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified.

It's a ghost,

they said, and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately said to them, that really spoke

a word to me, immediately said to them. Because how often will I stay paralyzed by fear in a

particular situation? He's saying immediately. Wouldn't that be wonderful?

Wouldn't it be wonderful if we really sewed this word? Is anybody having a moment but me? It just

may be me. But I need this so bad. I need to know that I don't need to wait 30 minutes into it

if my 18-year-old is late getting home and I'm pacing across the floor

going, why aren't you answering your cell phone? Because I'm going to tell you what I'm going to

do with that cell phone when you get home. I'm going to wrap that antenna around your scrawny

neck and then I'm going to snatch you ballhead is what I'm going to do. Could anybody just taken immediately from God?

There are so many long-term works God does in our lives

that every now and then I wish something would just be immediately.

In every circumstance, we can immediately hear Jesus say, take courage.
