My name is Sir Roland Paterlot, and you're listening to Saturdays with Sir Roland

on Catholic Sprouts, where every Saturday we discuss the art of Dragon's Sane.

This land on the podcast, I'll be telling

you the story of salvation history and showing you where all the dragons emerged in the story

by focusing on one main character each week. Last week, we discussed the creation story and the

covenant God made with the first man Adam and his wife Eve. We saw how the red dragon of pride,

the first and deadliest sin,

caused the first man and woman to fall from grace and break the covenant they had made with God.

This week we continue the story of salvation and turn our attention to the orange dragon of

envy. I'm sure you can probably guess the character I'm going to focus on, as you know that

Adam and Eve had two sons shortly after

they got kicked out of the garden, and those two sons were Cain and Abel. Since the beginning of time,

the Orange Dragon of Envy has been attacking brothers and sisters especially. So if you have siblings,

I'm sure you can relate to this story from Genesis Chapter 4. Now the man knew his wife Eve and she conceived and bore

Cain, saying, I have produced a man with the help of the Lord. Next, she bore his brother Abel.

Now Abel was a keeper of sheep and Cain a tiller of the ground. Cain brought to the Lord an offering

of the fruit of the ground and Abel, for his part, brought the firstlings of his
